Well I guess we didn't do a whole lot of picture worthy things in the month of November...

October 2013
In an effort to get caught up on blogging, I am going to make one post for each month that I have missing(way too many), at least I have still been taking pictures. :) In October we went pumpkin picking, Ashlynn got to ride a pony, the Make-A-Wish Pond was completed, and we went Trick-OR-Treating with our cousins!

Deerfield Fair 2013
This year the only day we could get to the Deerfield Fair was on Saturday, which is by definition is the worst day to go to the fair with little children. We decided we would go, and make the best of it. Ahslynn was really excited to see all the animals, even Jackson seemed enjoy looking at everything. We checked out the petting zoo, as well as all of the farm buildings. I think the cows were Ashlynn's favorite animal this year. We didn't get to stay too long because there were too many people around, and Ashlynn had a bit of meltdown. Everyday when we drive by the fair grounds Ashlynn asks when we can go back to the fair.
Apple Picking with School
I was really excited I was able to join Ashlynn on her first field trip. Her class went apple picking this fall at Carter Hill Orchard. The Orchard is up on top of a hill, with a beautiful view all around. Ashlynn and all of her classmates had a fun time riding on the wagon that was pulled by the tractor out to the part of the orchard where we got to pick apples. Ashlynn was more excited about eating the apples than actually picking. I think just about every apple in her bag had a bite taken out of it. After we finished picking apples we enjoyed some time playing on their playground. We both had a great day!

Ashlynn the Dancer
In September Ashlynn dance class. She is taking a tap/ballet combo class. She LOVES tap class, but doesn't like ballet quite as much. She tells me that the song 'Rainbow Connection' (her ballet recital song) is annoying. This is apparently why she doesn't like ballet. Hopefully she will decide she likes ballet at some point.
