Dover Children's Museum

Last Sunday we took a trip to the Dover Children's Museum to have some fun.  Ashlynn spent most of her time in the upstairs area that is for younger kids.  Maddi and Ethan were all over the place having fun!  There were lots of different things to play with at the museum, and Ashlynn kept changing her mind about what she wanted to do.

Visiting a Chick

A couple weeks ago we got our shipment of chicks.  Ever since Ashlynn has been obsessed with them.  In the afternoon when we get home she has to say hi to them and watch them for awhile before we can go up stairs.  Most days she is so sad to go up stairs she even cries about it!  Over the weekend Garrett brought one of the chicks up stairs for Ashlynn to visit with.  Ashlynn was beyond excited!  She was giggling the whole time and she kept saying 'Chick Nice Chick'.  Surprisingly Roxy really likes the Chicks as well.  She likes to be mother Roxy to them.  She will also hover by their pen any chance she gets.

Chemo Session 3 Round ?

Somewhere during the 3rd session of Chemo I have missed a couple weeks.  I think we should be at Round 9 already, but according the the blog we are only on 8.  Either way we just have 2 more weeks to go with this session, and then a couple weeks off for testing, and 11 weeks of Chemo, and then we are done!

Last week my niece, Maddi, came with us.  She wanted to come and see what goes on every week with Ashlynn's treatment.  Maddi even invented a backpack for kids going through Chemo to use for Invention Convention at school.  While we were waiting for Ashlynn's turn to get Chemo Maddi kept Ashlynn busy by coloring with her.  We we lucky to have another quick treatment, and then Nana treated us to some Olive Garden.
