Chemo Session 3 Round 4, 5, & 6

I haven't been very good about keeping up with the blog the last few weeks, so here is an update on the last few treatments.  Ashlynn has been a little trooper, as always!

Treatment 4 was a long one, and Ashlynn almost made it through without getting sick.  We tried some new medications, and different timing for old medications.  We are getting close to finding something that works.  Hopefully this week things will go smoothly!

Treatment 5 was a little different.  Ashlynn ended up in the hospital because of a fever on Tuesday of that week.  We stayed in the hospital from Tuesday night until late Wednesday night, and then were able to go home.  Ashlynn had RSV which was an explanation for her fever, so luckily we didn't have to stay the full 48 hours.  Ashlynn was able to get her chemo while we were at the hospital.

Treatment 6 went really smoothly.  Ashlynn had a 9:30 appointment, and we were home by lunch time!
