The Fourth of July we all had the day off, and with Ashlynn's Birthday Party coming up we decided to stay home and let Garrett work on some projects around the house. Ashlynn was excited to play outside on her playground, and on the little slide we got for free on the side of the road. After a few trips down the little slide she decided it was too small and we should give it to Evi. I'm sure she will change her mind if Evi actually tries to use the slide. Her birthday party might be interesting with her having to share all of her things. I can imagine she will be saying 'Mine, Mine' quite a bit. Hopefully she gets the hang of sharing, because October and her baby brother's arrival are just around the corner.
Ashlynn really enjoys her HUGE playground. She is such a little monkey, and doesn't need much help climbing up the ladder to the platform. She would be happy to go from her swing, to the slide, to the tire swing all day long! After the playing on the playground for over an hour, (which is about a century for an almost 2 year old) she was getting rather hot and found herself a nice muddy puddle to cool off in. I'm thinking we need to get her a little pool...
