Like most holidays in our family we are lucky enough to celebrate them many times. We did Easter at our house in the morning, then went to Easter Lunch with Gram, and then the next week we had Easter with my mother and brother and family. We made a fun Easter treat to bring over to Grams, Thank You Pinterest!
The way that our house is set up it's very hard for the Easter Bunny or Santa to come during the night without Ashlynn seeing all her gifts before the family is ready to celebrate. This year the Easter Bunny was running late. He didn't even get to our house until after Ashlynn and Garrett went to get coffee. When Ashlynn woke up and there were no eggs around the house she was very confused, and said to me 'Momma I thought today was Easter- I guess the bunny forgot.' She was so excited when she got home from getting coffee with Garrett and she saw the Easter Bunny had stopped by. Ashlynn was very excited about the Easter Bunny. She asked him for an iPad, but I explained to her that the Easter Bunny was on tight budget this year and he would decided what kind of treats she would get. She was ok with that, and was perfectly happy with all the goodies she got. She had tons of fun on her various egg hunts!
