Well we have made it through another treatment! This one went very smoothly. Ashlynn’s appointment was at 9am. We left around 7, and had a nice ride up. Ashynn’s Grammy came with us to keep us company, and so she had an idea about what was going on when we went up for treatments. Ashlynn had lots of fun playing in the playroom as always! She only got to play for about 20! The Pharmacy was really quick getting her medicine mixed up this week so we could move right along to the blood work and infusion. The accessing of her port is always her east favorite part, but she did amazing. You can tell the numbing cream really works and she is more bothered by having to lie still while they do it. The whole drawing blood for her lab work and her infusion lasted less then 10 minutes total. It was AWESOME! We were on our way by 10 and home by Noon! I wish all treatments could be like this. Next week we will stay overnight, because Ashlynn treatment is a combo of 3 medications.
